We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Nadia Kirby as she joins our team.
Nadia has taken on the role of Activities Coordinator.
Nadia has a strong background within theatre management and has had previous experience in the activities role in other care settings.
Nadia has been with us for just over 2 weeks and has already proved popular with the residents and staff alike. Nadia has a plethora of ideas and is keen to get different activities and ideas rolling out, especially making good use of the garden and summerhouse.
Ross, our home’s maintenance person has transformed the St Vincent’s Care summerhouse into a lovely seating area, with homely furnishings, flowers, and plants galore. Ross has captured the feeling of homeliness and, like Nadia, has lots of ideas and suggestions to improve the residents’ lifestyles and wellbeing.
Please follow St Vincent’s Facebook page to see what lovely things we have going on day to day.
We are delighted that the lovely Angela Cooke from St Stephen’s Church has once again resumed her monthly visits to the home, following a long two years of the pandemic. Angela visits the home on or around the 20th of each month to share songs and prayers with those residents who wish to participate.
Congratulations go to Dan Santos on achieving his Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and Senior Carer, Vicci Willerton in achieving her Team Leading Level 3 Award. They have both worked extremely hard, often in their own time to achieve this.
Last, but by no means least, we have had two recent, independent audits of the home, and to say that we are more than proud of the reports we received is an understatement! As always, Jo is telling everyone how proud she is to be the manager of such a fantastic team.
Welcome again to Nadia Kirby, welcome back to Angela Cooke and congratulations to Dan Santos and Vicci Willerton from us all!
