During our recent renovations, we upgraded our St Vincent’s Residential Care Home hair salon space! We are delighted that it is proving very popular with our residents.
As a dedicated area, we have installed a proper hair salon sink and residents can have the full hair salon experience – they can even read their favourite magazine during their appointment! This is an optional extra, bookable service.
One of the advantages of having this salon space is that it is more accessible and comfortable for our family community – and residents don’t need to leave the safety of their home to feel like they look a million dollars. It is important to us that we look after the wellbeing of our residents – who doesn’t like that ‘just come out of the salon’ feeling?!
This facility complements some of our other wellbeing facilities including our visiting lady entertainer (more soon!), chiropodist and district nurse. With a variety of different things to do that are organised by our Activities Coordinator, there’s always something fun going on.
