Caring for your Loved Ones
Coronavirus update – For your immediate attention
Due to the recent increased focus on Coronavirus, Jo, Emma and I would like to take the opportunity to explain that our home is in lockdown and has been now for 2 weeks.
We are taking every precaution to protect our residents and our staff. All staff temperatures are taken when they come on shift on top of the already stringent policies we have with respect to handwashing.
Our residents have regular facetime contact with their families and we have videoed and sent to resident’s families any birthdays celebrated. The families enjoyed Mothering Sunday through facetime.
We thank you for your patience during this time and ask that you also follow the Government guidelines on isolation and wish you all well to staysafe.
We are closely monitoring any updates from CQC , WHO and governing bodies and will update this when we have further news on when it is safe to open the home for visitors.

To Jo and the wonderful staff
I just wanted to thank you all personally for everything you do to keep Peggy(and all the other residents) safe and happy with everything that is going on at the moment.
You are all Superstars . Stay Safe Love Debbie
Why people choose St Vincents?
“People’s care, treatment and support needs were clearly identified in their care plans. They included people’s choices and preferences. Staff knew people well and understood their likes and dislikes. They treated people with kindness and respect. People were positive about the staff support and the care they received. They said that staff looked after people well and that they were friendly and helpful.”
- CQC Inspector
Your continuing health is of the utmost importance to us. As part of a balanced healthcare team, your own GP, community nurse, physiotherapist, chiropodist, dentist, optician and hair dresser make regular visits.
St Vincent's enjoys a good reputation and is popular for its warm and cheerful atmosphere. A great deal of this is attributed to the highly trained and motivated staff who make up our team of day and night carers, efficient domestics and our highly experienced cook.
All residents are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities by our activity co-ordinator and our vicar next door is on hand to offer spiritual support and hold weekly in-house service for those who are interested.

"I have enjoyed every minute of my time here. It's perfect for all my needs, the best place I have been. All the carers are wonderful and you can tell they love coming to work. The food is marvelous; they make all my favourites"

"My husband was in your Bexhill home for over a year. I wish to commend all of the staff for their outstanding care until he passed."
